february is for family

Not since the craziness of the holidays have I had a chance to see my family and extended family.  So, the last two weekends Ryan and I have made pilgrimages to the ones we love to share all those special moments with them.

Two weekends ago, three.bunnies was honored to be part of a very special benefit for my sister who is battling breast cancer.  I come from a family of avid and talented scrap-bookers so it was fitting for them to throw a scrap booking crop in order to raise funds to help my sister with her costly medical bills. It truly is a great honor for Taylor and I to help out my sister as she has been a huge inspiration to the both of us as well as one of our biggest supporters.

I am glad to say the scrapbook crop was a large success! It was incredibly eye-opening to see the dedication behind the scrappers of this world. Most of the women at the crop scrapped from 9 am till 9 pm with little time for chit-chat in between.  I wish I could say that even my most passionate hobbies got that much attention but alas they do not.

Last weekend, Ryan and I took a long weekend to visit his sister and her family.  They live a ways away from us and I always feel like about the time we are getting there we are packing up to turn back around.  It was really nice to spend the long weekend playing with the kids and dancing the night away with the Wii.

Tonight Ryan and I spent a nice date night in on this extra-ordinary leap day.  We made our first sushi together! (Hehe it sounds so dirty).  I have a newly found love for sushi making.  It was so easy and fun I want to make it every night.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful February! Keep your eyes peeled for new posting on our Etsy store.  Taylor and I are going to be working very hard to get new items photographed and posted!
